1. So in Australia we have this new bloody system known as the “OPAL card”. It’s meant to be a digital card you use for public transport- however there are different rates depending on ages and status (e.g. Pensions, adults, concession etc).

I would just like to point out that in Australia children under the age of 15 get cheaper fare as it is, so why do teenagers have to wait (most of us being students) close to 4 months for our card to be relased when children get theirs straight away. Would you trust a child with a cards link to your account parents?
Children get a “bus pass” which is given to them through the school and permits them to travel free! They don’t need this!

Students are always the prime suspects for whenever something seems to go wrong and the reason is because others have decided they are too cool to follow basic rules!
I am tired of being the prime suspect even when some of us actually trying to be good.
It’s frustrating to be publicly embarrassed by being stopped by police at every train station because “Do you have the correct ticket?” OF COURSE I DO WHY DO YOU STOP ONLY ME WHEN ADULTS ARE CLEARLY JUMPING OVER THE GATES BEHIND YOU.

In retail stores it’s “Can I check your bag” however for school students “I need to see every pocket and inside your pencil case and lunch box”. Women in prams however get to walk out with several bags and don’t have to show anything but a smile, seriously? This is a mockery.

To the people that have ruined it for the rest of us GOOD F*CKING JOB. And this is the prime reason for why I believe people break the rules in the first place, to meet these bloody expectations.

It is unfair for the youth of today to all be categorized even when some of us are trying.
Although I can too understand why they target us, it can also be very degrading. Having graduated from high school 2 years ago I can say the youth from today are really not helping the situation. People need to keep an eye which is so stupid if you think about it- why make yourself the target?

All I have learned from this experience, aside from cheap entry and fast metabolisms there is really no point in being young, I could sleep a lot more peacefully at night without the extra anxiety.
